Name: Piexon JP-401
The JET PROTECTOR JP-401 is a hand
held irritant agent launcher for the professional user. It emits a
liquid irritant jet on targets up to 6 meters (JP-402: 4 meters) with
very high accuracy utilising a pyrotechnic drive. Within the field of
non-lethal protection devices, it is the technological successor of the
OC or Irritant spray canister. It is used to effectively and reliably
incapacitate an assailant without causing lasting injury. The JP-401
fires specially designed replaceable cartridges that are filled with the
liquid irritant. It has four shots and can be easily operated with only
one hand. The JP-401 has a self rotating trigger mechanism with a
semi-automatic change over.
No loss of pressure, no variation in performance and no failures in
operational use. Unlike all other defense sprays the JET PROTECTOR
JP-401 generates the necessary pressure to expel the liquid irritant jet
pyrotechnically when the trigger is pulled. In the inactive position the
system is not pressurised. The JET PROTECTOR JP-401 achieves much higher
system reliability than any familiar pepper spray canister.
