Our high efficiency pulleys feature precision sealed ball bearings for minimum loss of mechanical advantage in compound or complex pulley systems. The large carabiner hole accepts multiple carabiners. By choosing aluminum, the sideplates can be made thicker, allowing smoothly rounded edges. The shaped bottom is designed to mind Prusik hitches but also works well with Gibbs ascenders. Anodized aluminum sheave is a full 2-1/2 x 1/2 inch tread diameter. Low profile axle fasteners help eliminate the possibility of snagging when the pulleys is moving.

At less than 3 ounces, this tiny pulley will go unnoticed in your pack until you need to rig a Z-Rig for an emergency extrication. The smooth running nylon sheave turns on a zinc-coated axle. Side plates rotate for easy rope insertion and are squared on the bottom to help tend a Prusik hitch. Fits ropes 12 mm and smaller (not suitable for use in a high line.)

The SMC Micro PMP Pulleys lighten the load while providing full-size performance. These high efficiency ball bearing pulleys have a unique sideplate design which accepts ropes up to 1/2 inch (12 mm) despite the compact size. The larger than usual top hole will accept two large rescue carabiners and the wide base handles Prusik hitches made from 6-8 mm cord.

Aluminum wheels and sideplates are anodized in contrasting colors for ease of rigging. Unique cam design does not rely on teeth for holding power, but works with a camming action like a Gibbs or Rescucender. Cam locks out of the way for lowering, then releases to protect a raising. Includes a 15-foot cord, which may be attached to either the pin release for the cam lock or to the cam itself for remote activation. For best performance, we recommend using 1/2-inch or 7/16-inch CMC Rescue Lifeline.

The Rock Exotica Digital Pulley can eliminate the usually very "rough estimate" of the distance to the patient. while not every rescuer needs the system data provided by the Digital Pulley, it can be integrated to make the system safer and more efficient. the base unit is a high performance pulley with a 2.9 diameter by .5 inch wide tread. The pulley has an integral swivel, keeping the digital displays visible.

Wheels are anodized aluminum. Over the years we have learned that Oilite bushings work extremely well for almost all rescue applications.
